 I I chose this LOVE ROSIE film poster because it is simple yet conventional. The two main actors are seen on the front cover embracing each other indicating to the readers that they are the love interest in this film. The young lady is looking directly at the audience this is direct mode of address and she is smiling. This makes the audience imagine that we will be able to relate with her in this film,her smile also connotes  entertainment,amusement and happiness which suggests is what this film contains. Her costume is a red coat and the text titles are also in bold red ink. The colour red connotes love and passion and the use of the characters name which is included in the film title "Love,Rosie" also reminds the readers of a rose which is traditionally given as a token of love. The text which is with in the heart gives the readers a hint of what the plot is about "its never too late to fall for a mate" there is a play of words so that it rhymes and stays in our minds. This text suggests that the love interest could be a long time friend? and makes the reader feel intrigued to find out exactly how a relationship forms from mates. The actors names are also in the heart in black ink so that the audience can focus on it as the actors are Hollywood recognised actors making them the unique selling point of the movie.
