Film magazine front cover

This is a good example of a successful magazine front cover for a film.The joker who one of the main characters from "The dark knight rises" features as the main image on the front cover giving the readers direct mode of address with his stare catching our attention.I found it very effective how the joker is fully in character in this image wearing his colorful costume and green hair sitting in front off what seems like prison bars. This representation suggests that the magazine's topic will evolve around this upcoming film and increase the excitement which conforms to the film magazine conventions.There are also small puffs on the sides with short phrases that indicate other topics that will be covered inside the magazine for example "The Mummy 3 10,000 bc & wanted!". these are the type of film magazine conventions we want to follow as well We intend on featuring our protagonist Lola on the front cover in a relaxed setting that fits with the genre of our trailer so that the genre and message of the contents in the magazine are clear to our target audience/readers.
