We decided to create a protagonist "Lola" that conforms to the conventional protagonist in movie of our genre. We portrayed Lola as a victim hero in our trailer a character who is the target of a form of mistreatment and develops in the film in order to solve a problem and restore balance.One of the ways we presented Lola as a victim is by giving her prevalence in close up shots of her facial expressions this is effective in making the audience sympathize with her.We also narrated the trailer with a non diegetic voice over of Lola talking from her point of view, voice over narratives are very conventional for our genre and is used in many films like "edge of seventeen" or "Bridget Jones diary". This allows the audience to feel closer to the protagonist and see it through their point of view which influences the audience to root for our protagonist and sympathize with them.

Representation part 1
Have we subverted or conformed to typical stereotypes of our "Teen coming of age" movie genre.
