This is our very first draft for our film magazine front cover. We chose our magazine name to be "Vivienne" in bright orange bold text as we felt this color connotes happiness and amusement which are themes included in our movie genre conforming to our "Coming of age chick flick" genre. We also thought that having a female name as the magazine title suggests that the main target audience for this movie is a female audience as it is featured in "girly" magazine. our main image so far is our protagonist Lola who is laying on grass looking to the distance thoughtfully we decided that this image would be the best option as it stays true to how Lola is presented in the "Marmalady" film trailer. there are various out door scenes shown in the trailer where Lola is either lying on the grass playing in a sea or walking among the trees.Therefore having an image of Lola outdoors in touch with her surroundings conforms to her personality represented in the film.It also conforms to the coming of age genre conventions where the protagonist is the main concern of the film.
