Our final product for our magazine front cover

This is our completed magazine front cover featuring our film "Marmaldy" after receiving useful feedback from our teacher we decided to add additional puffs and sub headings on the sides advertising other topics that will be covered in the magazines contents in order to address different readers preferences. We added the price £2.99 next to the bar code in white font so that it shows on the grass background however we also kept at a small font so that the price is not the advertised aspect of the magazine as it isn't very cheap we want our audience to immediately focus on what we are featuring. We also added a quote taken out from the movie trailer beside Lola's face. Ironically this quote "Growing up is just finding out who you are" is said by Lola herself in the movie.Therefore it suggests that this may be what our protagonist is thinking in this very image as she looks into the distance.The use of this quote is also effectively conventional to a coming of age genre. As it touches on the themes of growing up,Life and being in touch with your feelings which are prominent representations in coming of age movies. -
